Anyone use "Straight Talk" phone service?

I had a cousin tell me she's been using Straight Talk phone service from Walmart and she seems to like it. I'm all about saving money where I can and $30 /mo for 1000 minutes and 1000 texts with Internet seems like a damn good deal. You just have to buy one of their phones to get the service.

I'm told you either get At&t or Verizon's towers depending on which phone you buy, and there is a code attached to each phone so you can tell the difference. I've read a bunch of reviews and the only thing people seem to complain about is the customer service. Anyone use this?

Guess it's still a little new. Well, I ordered my phone today. Decided to buy online and saved $20.00. I'll let everyone know how the service is after I use it awhile.

I've had this service for 5 days and so far it's great. I ported my old number on line and it took less than 24hrs to get the new phone activated with my existing number. 3g service and unlimited minutes, texts, and internet for $45.00 a month, no hidden fees. Only down side is the amount of phones there are to choose from, they only have 2 smart phones as of now but there are more on the way.

Also you just have to pay for the phone up front because there is no contract. Small price to pay in the long run though. My wife is switching as soon as their new touch screen phone comes out, which should be soon. She's tired of paying $100/mo.
