Anyone use the dash covers?
http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/93-94...spagenameZWDVW
I also suffer from the cracked dash and I found this, anyone else use it?
If so can you post a pic of what it looks like and if ur happy with it?
There is a huge price difference between this and replace the whole upper dash.

the guy who owned my car before me had one. The adhesive he used to secure it, totally messed up the dash. Or, he used something to take it off that burnt the plastic.
Now, when the sun hits it just right, you can see where it was attached!
I either have to get a dash cover, or replace the dash.

I've got one in my 94... my shit is so cracked you could lose a kitten in it. That looks about like mine, but mine has holes on the sides for the side window defrosters....
And yes, its worth it, they look pretty decent.

NBM / Silver- 00 SS / 71 SS Elcamino
Used them on some of my older muscle cars. They were OK but the adhesive back then probably wasn't as good as it is now a days. The thing wouldn't stay down (Especially when the windows or in the Camaros case the t-tops are down) and the carpet was pretty shitty and faded rather quickly.
But like I said that was probably 15 years ago since I had one.2000 SS Camaro Heads, Large cam, Fast 90, 9"w/430's and locker, yada yada yada... you get the picture

One of those heat deflector things for your windshield will help preserve the dash pad as well.

Finding velcro with high temp adhesive will be the hard part....those damn things always melt on me and slid all over.

Well..... I don't have that thing. I also don't YET have a cracked dash. I do have a problem with the passenger side air bag cover has shrunk over the years. I happen to have a 98 and of course the fucking morons at GM have now discontinued the pad for 97-99 apparently they changed something for the 00. Yes GM is a bunch of cocksuckers. They still have the 00-02 around retail cost for the piece of shit plastic is $1100 GM
Yes I'm a bit pissed off about this!

Why the hell do you think I have a dash cover? Try finding a NEW dash for a damn 94 without taking out a mortgage on your first born.
