Anyone here play online poker?
I'm talking about for real money. If so what site do you play on and at what stakes. What do you think about it?
I play on sportsbook. I've been taking some horrible beats so I've toned down my playing till I can play some higher stakes. I've been doing pretty good on their large scheduled tournys but it's now pointless to play any 10 person table less than a 20 dollar buy in. Also their cash game tables are getting pretty bad with the guys that call any preflop bet with anything and catch.

i have been playing online for about 3 years now, on just about all the sites. have been using bodog for about a year since i like to occasionally do a little sports wagering. and ya, the sit and gos are terrible. i pretty much felt like i was just waiting on the bad beat all the time, so i stopped playing them and now i stick to the cash tables. people arent nearly as ridiculous in their calls when there is actual dollars in the middle.
as far as what i think about it, its frickin great. i dont really have access to a regular group of poker players, and i like to play, so its my only option.

See I was playing a 1/2 dollar cash game the other day and had two terrible bad beats and tend to always be killed by the bad hands. I like the sit and go's but like you said you wait for the bad beat. I'm waiting right now, and don't plan on playing any sit and go less than 50 dollar buy in or a cash table less than 3/6.. those guys don't play around, and neither do I. But sportsbook has a huge sports wagering on everything so you might want to check them out too.

I play on Full Tilt .. $1/$2 Blinds .. $40 buy-ins to sit .. Tourneys are pretty good there .. Just basically have to fold the first one or two rounds (unless you're dealt a nice hand) because there are some idiots who like to charge all-in to try and gain an advantage over the competition.
