anybody here have a Kodak Zi8 HD camera?

Im not real good at these devices but i bought one for Christmas and been playing around with the editing software that came with it .Although its real good quality when i post on youtube, it doesnt seem as good as some of the other videos ive seen. I normally use 720P 30FPS and let the software convert into mp4 for youtube/facebook upload. ive searched and read about other programs and wondering if im losing something in the conversion or need to try something else for editing? Here is a sample video to see what i mean, i cant tell a huge difference between 480 and 720 HD except load times?

Here's one for comparision, its kind of annoying but you can see that this video in 480 is as good if not better than mine in 720p and i dont know why. This one in 720P is what i was expecting with mine but havent seen quality that good yet
