my girlfriend plays the skin flute really well....she has a passion for it as everyone knows.

I played trumpet in middle school and high school. Had a yamaha. Hated the itchy feeling it gave my lips. It's gone now though. Perhaps I will take up guitar...

I played drums (snare) in the marching band and as a kit (full set) in the stage band in HS. You gain a fine appreciation of high and low brass and various woodwinds playing in a 21 piece swing band.

I still play to this day.

Yep. It's my business as well. Teach high school band. Been teaching since 92. Been playing trumpet since 76. Double majored in college - piano/trumpet. I'm a Bach guy myself...

Just percussion in elementary, middle school and HS. I wanted to play the trumpet in elementary school but wasn't good enough. Percussion was my second choice. I did get to play a lot of instruments in the band though which was cool. The odder the better.

I had two different strads, and both had issues.

I figured I just wasn't meant to have one, everyone elses have always been perfect.
