    another teenager on the road

    i turned 15 yesterday, and today i got my permit. WOOT! i am gonna learn to shift on the family 1990 mazda miata. one more stinkin year untill i can get my own car.

    i am. A 1990 miata with a hellish 140 horse power. lol . Then again, i did get in trouble for going too fast with our Craftsman 18 horse lawn tractor. i wasnt even in fith or sixth yet.

    well you will not find a 03+ cobra in that range, which by the way are the only ones worth a shit, so you're better off with a LS1

    you'll find a very nice LS1 for that range, mine was 10,500 and its still worth more than that 2 years later

    i could easily get an 01 supercharged with the money i have saved...i just dont know if i could make an F body faster with the same amount of money. i like them both equally. i would also like a car that can perform in the twisties as well as it can at the drag...

    An 01 cobra supercharged is a fast fuggin car. BUT, if its centrifugal blown it will not have the same low end grunt the ls1 has. Kenne Bell is a different story. The 01 cobras will handle awesome too because of the irs. But I think they will be hard to find in your price. Either a cobra or ls1 is a good choice to buy. But your young and I really think you should drive a beater for like at least 3 or 4 yrs. Trust me, you'll get in some kind of accident. When your jus starting driving you need to worry about driving the car, not going fast. You might think you an expert driver already when your with you parents in the family car but it gets different when your at alone or with a car full of friends in traffic and shit. I'm glad I waited to buy a fast car.
