Anger is not grounds for removing the radiator cap
Or else you will be angry and in pain while you work on your new car
This happened yesterday after I got sick of the piece of shit over heating and decided it wasnt necessary to wait for the engine to cool because I was pissed and wanted to flush it and yank the thermostat while it was still hot.
Just waiting to lose the rest of the skin so it will start healing.

that picture looks like some cuss words might have been used after that one. A guy I worked with a couple years ago ran a cutting torch across his arm in about the same spot. It looked magnasty.

you should've wrapped a towel around the cap. Actually, you should've waited until it cooled down but in a pinch you can wrap a towel around it and do it.

wedge it between your chin and neck next time, keeps you from burning your arm.

I know how those burns feel. I had the radiator cap on a 4wheeler blow off on me once here a few years back. the cap itself came off hard enough it gave me a black eye, and all the hot fluid on my face. I've never felt a worse burn before or since.

Yea man. You need to wrap that with something next time. I have such a cool burn I like to share usually. It all started out as this:
