9/13/10- Best day of my life.

So here is the story behind all of this, while most people went to college out of high school I went to work. Not my choice for sure but it wasn't financially smart to go away. Its been 4 years since I graduated high school and while at first I was going balls to the wall in college soon enough I bought a car, apartment and started working more and less school. Then when all of that finally got off my shoulders problems happened at home due to the economy and to help keep everything together I took maybe 1 or 2 classes a semester. As of now I make 23k a year, which is more than my parents combined because my dad lost his business and my mom works in a school as a media clerk.

I guess my aunt found out through my sister what was happening so she called me yesterday and gave me the best news of my life. Shes going to pay for my tuition 100% and let me go to any college I want, pay for my car, insurance, phone, apartment, everything and let me be a full time student with no responsibilities to hold on to. I'm still almost in shock, because I never imagined this coming my way. She has plenty of money so she said I don't even have to pay her back. She just wants me to experience college and not let anyone else's failures hold me back. So I'm either packing up and moving to Haywood County, North Carolina or I'll be going to FSU. Can't tell you guys how excited I am. Thought I would share with the LS1 family!

Yeah she's the best. I'm majoring in Business and will either be getting a finance degree or management. She said she wants me to go through right away and get my MBA too but that's up to me.

From what I have seen, that's the best way. Do it while you are still in a schooling frame of mind. Especially given that you have funding in hand. Once you leave, it's very difficult to get back to it...

Haywood nc, what school is in haywood go to app or western their is also uncc uncg or state.

It's Haywood CC, and go to UNC from there.

ok, yea I am going to a community college to save my military funds, and then transferring to uncc or state for mechanical engineering! both of those school are good area's for partying charlotte or raleigh.
