Well considering my car will never be made again.... thats not a decision Im going to have to make lol.

But IF.... hm... Id wait it out. That way if they dont end up changing barely anything, or anything thats worth while... u can buy the previous years model for cheaper lol.

May not even be making them in another year. GM is allready killing the G8 and Solstice after this generation is done.

Its true. They might as well kill Pontiac after that too, because it will no longer be GMs "sporty/performance" division after those two cars are gone. They'd have to resurrect the Firebird or the GTO again and those chances are sliiiiiiiiiim.

If this GM-Chrysler merger goes through, I have a feeling Dodge will take over Pontiac's place.

GM/Mopar if they merge will probably quit making the 300C/Charger/Challenger also.

I have heard that PONTIAC may be a stand alone company.. They are selling g6s like crazy.. you see them everywhere .. and the Charger and STX, I think its called its the fancier v6 cars, they are also selling well ..

Thats cause none of them can break into the 12s because they're all fatasses lol.

I love the way the Challenger looks.. but for the power it puts out and the price you pay, that car should NOT be a 13 second car. All of us LS1s bone stock can run hand in hand with them... in fact, I saw a black one on my way back from work this morning and had absolutely no problem going after him simply because I know they arent faster lol. He didnt play tho... none of them ever do....

I would actually like to see them replace Buick and Hummer with Chrysler and Jeep. And with them getting rid of the G8 and Solstice, I really wouldnt cry if Pontiac went away in favor of Dodge.

Pontiac may still stay around, they are basically rebadged Holden's. isn't the G6 based off the Cobalt?

they probably would have made the carlo faster, but not when camaro is coming back out.

No the G5 is the Cobalt. The Malibu and the G6 are the same car. The G8 shares the same platform as the Camaro... but.. ud figure the Impala would be on that same platform too... but its FWD still.
