2000 z28 302??? from GM

So i was thumbing through some old Motor Tends and I come to a page with the line GM's secret 302. I said how GM had teamed up with some tuners to make it. now I have never seen one or even herd of one. anyone else have? o and If you have MT its December 2001 issue pg. 124 and 125.

It was in a pewter Camaro I believe, it was on the 2004 Power Tour I believe.

I think it was the only one made but what a sweet idea. I think it would have been cool to have a v6 a 302 and a 347. with increasing power amounts.

very nice indeed! i have an old hot rod mag where some guy did a 97 camaro i think with a destroked LT1 and made it a 302 with around 400 horses. i'll hafta look for it and see wat all it had.

Sounds like they were trying to do a throwback to the early Z28s with the 302, great motor back then and it made a great car. It would be interesting to see this one in action.
