10 Fast for $10k
The Ten Fastest Cars For $10,000
I'm wondering why the foxbody was left off, other than the obvious "Ford Sucks" deal, and that Volvo?

My mom used to have a 3000gt and that car was pretty bad@ss...it was under warranty when she had it so I have no clue about maintenance plus I was a kid back then.

2002 Z28 A4 NBM- Sadly now demodded :(
From the article:
"A tuned Camaro will outrace just about anything at the drag strip or at the local autocross. They are America's performance champions."
I approve of this message (even though my Vette can outrun my Camaro)...
And if click on the "READ MORE" 1st car up is an SN95...

Its a DSM buddy. Of course it had problems. A lot is due to the owners, DSM owners love to turn up the boost without any kind of retuning. Or even replace turbos without any fuel system upgrade or tuning. I have a friend(more of a friend of a friend) who has probably owned 4 or 5 vr4 3000gts/rtt stealths. He always thought they were the best cars ever. He would talk about the guys running 600whp with the stock bottom ends and blah blah blah but there is a reason he had 4 or 5 of em.... and it wasn't because they all stayed running. I think he still have a vr4 but it has been completely stripped down as he wanted to do a full build. But working as a bar tender at age 30 doesn't get you too many car parts.

Male actually...hard to believe, I know. His sister was working at the same place and was making more than him...she worked a room like you've never seen before. He was being paid a good amount per hour too, under the table. Hated him for it as we were both in college and he was loaded all the time.

haha I can see the right place getting some serious $$$ whether they are female or male...we go to a place called the Capital Grill here in Nashville and a glass of bourbon is anywhere from $25-80. Get a few of those in a customer and you'll get a pretty sweet tip.
I tipped a guy around $65 for our meal about a month ago...went to this really cool place in town and we ate at the bar. He only charged me for one drink "Think I had 4 or 5 that night" and didnt charge me for any of kelsi's wine or our appetizers...so I hooked him up for hooking me up...people who know how the game works make a killing in those environments. He saved me atleast $65 so I had no issues with it lol

We have Capital Grille's here in Chicago. Places like that, Shaws, Gibsons and others are all pretty high scale environments with great service/food. It probably helped that my friend was dating the owners daughter for awhile... forgot to mention that lol.

Yea, he wasn't working downtown or anything.
I have another friend who has worked at two large hotels with multiple halls. He too made that kind of money. And some of our friends were jealous that someone could only work 2-3 nights a week and make almost 1k a week. Then we all started getting real careers making that kind of money and more but we don't have to sacrifice every friday and saturday night, we have benefits, retirement accounts, paid time off and a guaranteed income. Plus it's hard to get a mortgage or any kind of consumer credit when 80% of your income is off the books. Now he seems to be the jealous one.Last edited by Zinergy; 08-18-2014 at 10:45 AM.

Oh, I hear you. I wouldn't trade my job for anything lol...but at 21 making that much "cash", I hated him. Think I was making maybe $30k a year working at the gas station and grocery store combined. He was making like 50-60K cash.
Yup, that's a nice place. Mortons is another nice steakhouse. Gibsons too.
