The 05 GTO Was Traded Today...

...But at least I am still in the LS2 family.

I had to have an SUV to haul all the stuff around for work. So I figured why not have the best of both worlds... 400HP in an SUV with AWD is pretty cool.

I took the pics 20 minuets after picking up the truck. Yes, the dealer sticker & license plate frame are coming off.

hey didn't you see the NO PARKING sign there, Bud?
Wouldn't that be something to be towed away hours after you bought the damn thing?

Nice Ride! Bet it hauls major ass.

    Aaaah... lookin' good!

That was going to be our next vechicle purchase but with the price of gas, I should probably just get a scooter.

I purposely parked there for the pic. I figured it would show my oh-so-rebellious side.

Thanks for the compliment. It feels pretty damn strong. I am going to break it in a little more before driving it in my usual manner. :drive:

That's no joke. Luckily, the company picks up the fuel tab when I am on a job. When I am off the job & at home, I have a Schwinn to get around on.

Wonder why they don't put electric fans on trucks? They increase power and it's easier on the water pump..

Yea, a few mods are going to get done in the future. I am just not sure yet which ones. Either way, it will be a little while before I mod it. I gotta pay it down some first.

The SRT8 is faster overall but the ss is the all around better truck for everyday driving.

I don't personally know yet. I looked for an SRT8 to drive, but couldn't find any in the area. Of course, I didn't look too hard to be honest. I was already pretty set on a TB. The pricing was one reason. The SRT8 is a bit more expensive. I don't know if I could have gotten a Jeep dealer to sell one to me at $500 over invoice since they are in such high demand. I got damn lucky on the TBSS. The dealership I went to had 6 or so of them in stock and wanted to move one.

Damn that thing is sweet as hell. The only downfall to those is the price. God I would love to have one but just can't swallow that payment. Can't wait to see it when you start modding it.
