Stormed like hell up home last night. We didn't get anything down here. Warm and humid with rain probably coming though.

That's the rumor, Jeff. I was down to the Sullivan County fair watching the demo derby. Small storm passed through enough to make things wet for a few hours but then it quit.

Kind of a lazy day here. Took the Monte for a spin earlier. Watching "The Abyss" now... cool ass flick.

2000 Grand Prix GTP- 2000 Trans Am WS6 M6
Question time...
The Trans Am will not idle without having to hold the throttle slightly. It will idle at 800rpms fine, but once I take my foot off the throttle, it dies immediately. I'm thinking my IAC valve isn't opening at all. I don't want to adjust the TB closing point to be slightly open in order to get it to idle correctly....that's not the right way to solve this problem.
Is there anything else I should check besides the IAC? The new mods since my last tune are 2" headers (up from 1.75"), 3.5" y-pipe (up from 3"), ZR1 injectors (same size as before, but different), and a port job on my FAST102. Would any of this contribute to my issues?

Is the hole in the throttle blade large enough?

Different injectors, even though they have the same flow rating, require updating the injector data in the tune.

Are all 4th gen rears the same? Looking at the rear disc brake conversion and I know there's a few 4th gens in the u-pull up the road...

Jetstream Metallic Blue- 1978 Trans Am LS1
Zack,
From what I've read....they did change in 1998 ( first year of LS). It is also possible to put S-10 rear discs from the same year (1998ish). There is a writeup on nastyz or transamcountry. I'm thinking of doing the LS rear brake swap too....down the road.
