Ok, what dummy invented the non-locking gas door on a $50k car. Any work arounds?

see if you can find a locking gas cap to get around the non-locking gas door issue

No such animal on the gas cap. And another thought on modern gizmos, the push button start. If you are near the car with the fob it can be unlocked..... and started....so you are filling the car up at the gas station and someone jumps in it and takes off. Am I missing something here?

Prople advertise the cable for 2018 cars but they connector is different.

Look up locking cap (or plug) for capless vehicles. Not sure if any of them are Camaro-specific, but a couple of the designs I saw might work for you.

If the connector is different on your 2018, then GM pulled a fast one to keep people from eliminating it. I'm sure there will be something out within the next month if not already. I'd get in contact with one of the vendors of said product and see what they say about it.
