I have the pcm from a 2002 camaro. I got it with the t56 and wiring harness.

Very cool man. What type of power are you expecting out of the ole girl?

I hope you know how much self restraint you will need in order not to crack the throttle on that girl with the stock 10-bolt. lol

Hoping for somewhere in the low to mid 400 range. Probably won't get to a dyno this year.
As for the rear......I'm just going to keep my fingers crossed. No track passes with the 10bolt that's for damn sure.

Ran all of the hoses: pcv, radiator, heater, steam line. Put O2 sensors in.
Also figured out what to do with the throttle cable connecting to the TB. The problem that I had was that the lokar cable was run and connected to the pedal using the end with the allen head brass fitting. The other end did not match up to the TB.
Here is what I'm talking about:
    lokar.jpg
Someone suggested using an end for a motorcycle cable. But I stumbled across the link below and decided to make my own.
Here is a link to what I did: Home made throttle cable nipples
In short.....I bought a brass door lock, cut to size and countersunk then drilled a hole for the throttle cable to fit through. Worked perfect.

Also ordered all of the pieces for my cold air intake. I am going to piece together one using rubber 90's and aluminum all 4". I am going to run the cone through the battery tray on the drivers side.
    Should look something like this:

Trans should be in this week also.

Just read a post on another site about someone complaining that the cost of the LSX swap parts for the 3rd gen. cars are too expensive. First of all, I hate to hear people complain about this because if you price everything out beforehand and do some research, you can decide for yourself whether it is beyond your budget or not. If it is than don't do the swap and quit bitching. Easy as that. A guy is complaining about the price of headers for the swap. I know the price is high, but these are STAINLESS HEADERS MADE SPECIFIC FOR A 3RD GEN LSX SWAP. They fit perfect. I don't imagine that this company is pumping thousands of these headers off their assembly line on a daily basis because there are millions of people doing an LSX swap in a 3rd gen. camaro. If you can't afford it, make your own or use stock manifolds till you can.

I think we are pretty lucky that someone is actually making these parts available.
I usually don't post shit like this, but these people are annoying me with their constant bitching.

Flywheel, clutch, trans, drive shaft and torque arm are all in the car. The entire drivetrain is now put back together. The shifter opening did need to be trimmed about 2 inches towards the rear. I used the Hawks Third Gen trans crossmember. Just needed a bit of finesse to get all 4 bolts to line up. I'm using the alum. driveshaft out of the 02 camaro that I got the tranny from. Although I have the 02 center console, I think I'm going to keep the original console in the car. I put it back in today to see how it fits with the shifter being back a little farther and it is fine.

Hawks sells a 6speed plate to put over the 5 speed plate.

Also since I have a mechanical speedometer, I'm going to need an electronic to mechanical speedometer box.

Problem is, it is not cheap ($340). I'm not really worried about a speedometer, it hasn't worked in the car for about 4 years now. I'll see what the funds are like after it is running.

Here are some updated pics of the drivetrain.

air intake parts should be here Tuesday and hopefully on the car by the weekend.

Looking good! Will the exhaust be a bolt on affair, or is it all going to be custom bent?

The y pipe will need to be custom made. Im hoping to be able to use parts of the old y. The rest of the exhaust will remain the same.

CAI parts got delivered early Monday afternoon (a day earlier than I thought), so since I was off for the day I had time to get if all figured out. I originally ordered 3 different size 4" 90* elbows since I wasn't sure which one would work off of the TB and also for the bend through the driver's side battery tray. I used the longer of the 90's off of the TB, 3 1/2" to 4" coupler to attach to the aluminum to the MAF, and used a 4" to 3 1/2" 90 in the tray. All held together with t-clamps. After it was all mocked up, took it apart and polished the aluminum tubing. I will make some sort of plastic guard for the back side of the air filter to any thing that is kicked up from the tire along with water won't affect it.
I had to mount the MAF closer to the cone side. It didn't fit very well on the other end. All that is needed is to put the IAT somewhere.
