    SLP Longtube Headers

I bought these back quite a few years ago. For performance, I would definitely recommend them. Bought these with the bigger Y-Pipe (measurement is slipping my mind) and hi-flow cats. The performance is instantly recognizable with an added kick that makes the LS1 feel like it has been held back the whole time.

On a side note, the length of these things is as bad as you may have heard. I really have to scope out speed bumps as the taller ones lead to scraping. I am new to LS1 and hopped on here to learn about repairs as my Camaro was in a wreck. Loading the thing into a trailer was a damn head ache due to those headers! They caught the lip of the trailer and the ramp and we ended up having to get a tow truck to lift the whole ass end up just to clear the exhaust (due to the length of the headers). Despite all this, the components have all held up well and I can recommend them. You might get a check engine light but SLP was cool and picked up all the shipping costs, cleared the error, and sent it back in about a week and a half.

I scraped them more at stock ride height than I scrape my Kooks with the car dropped.
    Actually never scraped my Kooks.

SLP longtubes, hi-flow cats, and LS6 intake gained me 13 RWHP. Same dyno, went from 320 to 333. Needed tuned obviously as it was running fat.
Mine didn't really hold up all that well, they were starting to rust after a year. Car isn't a daily driver by any means either.

Wow...sorry to hear that. Mine still look great, but it also was definitely not a daily driver. Mostly I just used my Camaro for nice weekend strolls down the highway...the SLP's held up well for that.
