    Lou's short stick

Unbelievable the diff this mod made. Couldn't believe that 2-3 inches would make driving that much easier but it did, I can now shift with a flick of the wrist. Even my wife enjoys driving now because the shifts are much shorter for her, she doesn't have to lean forward to shift into 3rd or 5th. Only downside was price. I paid $52 and then saw several diff. types on Ebay for $22-$27.

That brings up something I was just thinking about is the Lous short stick that much better than others on ebay for half the price? Anyone able to compare the two? Thanks!

I've referred other LS1ers to the Ebay short sticks and before the site went down I never heard one complaint. They were all happy with their purchase.

Good deal currently there are two kinds on ebay, one has an adaptor plate to move the shifter back to the center of the console the other doesn't is there that much of a difference in that piece, thanks!

Sure good luck with it, they should both be in the $20ish range, post back results when you install!

i just put on a lou's stick along with the install of my pro 5.0 and it's an unbelievable difference. the shifts are so much shorter and much more firm. i now have total confidence when going 2-3. no more " oh shit, that's 5th, there goes that race." the pro 5.0 and lou's short stick are both awesome. got mine as a package from afterthoughts auto for 225 including shipping.
