K&N company is #1 in my book.

Bought a K&N FIPK kit about a year ago and love the way it looks in the bay. Then about a month ago the neck on the carbon fiber filter cracked. May be my fault from over tightening, but I sent a email to K&N, next day recieved a reply to please send pictures. So I took some pics and emailed them to customer service. Next day they asked for my adress and phone #, I sent it and 15 minutes later recieved a email that a new replacement filter for the FIPK kit is being shipped UPS today. Talk about great customer service. They didn't even ask for the old filter back and the FIPK filter is a $100 part. Can't help but support companies that really stand behind the product!

Agreed, I like my K&N FIPK, but in retrospect I think I would've went with the SLP FlowPack. I spent $250 for my K&N (which wasn't bad), but I ran a bunch of codes this summer due to a lack of air flow to the intake, since I have a stock hood. Now I have to get like an Ultra-Z hood for peak performance and stop the rich fuel mixture codes. Oh yea, and question, if the air injection is UNDER the intake, then how is it going to warm up your car quicker in the winter???
