Sounds real good. I hope to have enough money to get LPP headers and a GMMG chambered exhaust for mine next spring.

I already have the Magnaflow but, somehow want the GMMG.

Very nice burnout. That was with no muffler? Nice. Was that an open pipe just before the muffler, or how was it for that particular burnout?

And I never thought about using the flanged connection on this muffler to unbolt so easy...just get some gaskets for it, eh?

It's ok young grasshopper- one day you shall get "the muff" -like the rest of us- and become a man.

It's true! Maybe one day I'll be a big grasshopper that jumps on the muff and goes diving in.

Thanks. I was just going to order the Aerochamber, then my hours at work got cut from 40 to 24. Really sucks! At least I still have a job, as soon as the economy picks up I'll be back to 40.

The Hooker sounds like it will take care of my somewhat raspiness, and the baffle in my current muffler is getting loose again and rattling.

Yeah, the OP is bringing a thread back from the dead!

Alright, finally got it ordered. I settled on the Hooker muffler due to overwhelming majority on this thread.

I was looking at tips, I like the dual tips, then I saw some pricing, and that turned me off. The ones I wanted were around $65-90 per side, then I saw some '70-'71 GTO tips, they are slant cut like I like, and 2.5" inlet and dual 2.5" outlets for ~$65/pair from Jegs.

This stuff should arrive next week, with installation shortly thereafter.

So, here are a couple pictures:

I do like the sound, it is just like my old muffler but quieter. Not as deep sounding as I wanted, but at least now you can't hear me coming from a mile away. I DO miss scaring the Harley riders tho, you know, the open pipe ones? Use to be I could get just in front of them and get on it, loud as hell back at 'em. That's why I need some cutouts now LOL.
