    Fixing my 99 Mustang

    Hey,
Just wanted to tell you folks that I would never think that restoration of a '99 Mustang will be that challenging for me... I bought it used, and a lot of rubber stuff corroded and hell, it's so irritating! Window seals, carpeting, uphollstery... Still keep working to bring it back to life... Anyways, was looking at the aftermarket dash kit (stick-on) in real yellow carbon fiber, and thought maybe anyone here tried such interior trim? Is it really cool?
Also, how do you guys seal those holes in the floor - are there special plugs or you use something else...
    Thank you!

Welcome to the site! Can't say that I have any experience wrenching on Mustangs... but you should be able to purchase just about everything you need either from a dealership or aftermarket vendors. There are a variety of rubber plugs and a possible source for them includes Steele Rubber Products. Other possibility is to hit up the local boneyard and just find some that are in better shape to use - cheap, easy and the hunt is always entertaining.

Hey, this weekend checked what's available and found lots of floor plugs for my Mustang. They are tiny things (I am talking about the new ones https://www.carid.com/floor-plugs/) and are said to fit like OEs... Anyways, will give it a try, because just sealing with a silicone or something is definitely not the best idea...
