    Clutch.....?

Well I am buying a 2002 SS slp camaro on Monday. I am pretty sure that the throw out bearing is goin out. I plan on replacing it right away. I am just going to be driving it on the street and on the occasion jump on it perhaps a double clutch here or there around a corner. (very rarely)
Thinking of maybe a stage 1 centerfoce set up has 30% more holding power than stock. Any one have any suggestions ?
    Thanks Jeff

A LS7 clutch will be fine. Also the tranny has synchros, no need to double clutch. It Ain't no truck !

I went with the Spec Stage 3+ clutch. It gripes well when racing and has the realistic feel of a daily driver. I think Texasspeed.com has the best price on it.

Yes one more vote for the LS7 clutch. But.... Make sure you get the updated version. I put one in my friends 99 and he is having the same issues stated in this post.. LS7 Thread Go down to post #10

As for the throw out bearing, don't just replace the bearing.. Replace the whole slave cylinder. . Cheap insurance and your going to already have the trans out. Just pick one up from autozone.. Lifetime warranty aswell..
