    Billet LS1 LS2 Valve Covers

    Hi Guys,

Totally new member here. I'm developing some billet valve covers for the LS1 and LS2 motors. I'm looking for some feedback on a couple of things. Attached are a couple of pics of what I have so far. Iíve designed them to use the stock mounting bolts/grommets and seals. Iíve also incorporated mounting the coils right onto the covers to do away with that ugly stamped steel bracket.

First, there is a 3/8" hose barb on the stock passenger side valve cover. Would this hose connector be a necessity? If so, I can incorporate a ĖAN style barb fitting but Iím trying to find out if itís something people would want/need.

Second, I have the same basic question regarding the breather grommet on the drivers side cover. Iíve already incorporated that into the design as you can see in the pictures but just thought Iíd check on the need/want of it.

Also, is there a general preference for having a flat top to the covers or ďflutedĒ like shown in the pictures? I will probably offer both versions but would like to get a sense for whatís more popular.

Any feedback would be greatly appreciated. Cheers.

    Mark

Off the top of my head I believe the fitting on the passenger side is the PCV...I could be wrong though. I'd just include the holes for the grommets, but offer some kind of billet plugs should people not want/need them. Just my .02

I think both a flat billet and the fluted look good. I really like what you've done with the coil mounting. I'd definitely buy a set! They look great!

You might want to post a link to this over in the AAG or appearance forums. You'd probably get more response.

When you get the pricing info and everything figured out let me know. I'm definitely interested.
