*** April COTM winner... Strykerg8GT ***
Congratulations to Strykerg8GT on the April COTM win!!
Hello, my name is Shaun and I’m addicted to cars. My addiction began the day I was born. You see, my father, Guy, is an automotive technician and in our household cars ruled. If you were to ask us what our favorite team is, the answer would have to be General Motors. I learned at an early age to appreciate automobiles and to see them as works of art rather than simple means of transportation.
I acquired the car in the summer of 2009 as a replacement for my 2003 Chevrolet Blazer ZR2 that was totaled in an unfortunate accident. When deciding upon a replacement vehicle I knew I had a few criteria that needed to be met. It needed to be a rear wheel drive V8 sedan and it needed to be a GM. Needless to say, that narrowed my search down significantly. I saw buying this car new as a way of supporting GM in its time of crisis and as a way to own a piece of automotive history, the last great Pontiac.
I’ve built this car to date with the modifications that I feel compliment not only the vehicle itself but also each other nicely. I have received numerous compliments wherever I drive and have taken home numerous awards from various car shows. However, none of this would be possible if it weren’t for the help and support of my father. He ignited my passion for cars and has helped me every step of the way to create the vehicle pictured before you.

Finally, thank you to everyone who voted for me. There were a number of great vehicles in this month's poll and its a privelage to be able to represent LS1.com for the month of April. It's always nice to know that the hard work put into a vehicle is appreciated by your peers.
