Pewter Metallic- 2000 Pontiac Trans Am WS6
LS2 or LS6
Ok i plan on keeping the T/A for a few more years,but i probably consider doing an engine swap in the future what engine would be my best bet a LS2 or a LS6?

if it were me I would prolly go with the LS2 for the added cubes

A lot will depend on budget, and how much work you are looking to do. Plus with added power, you'll want to ensure the drivetrain can handle it.
If it were me, I'd do a LS3. More work for sure, but a lot of power.

According to Frost the LS6's make more power on his dyno over the LS2's in stock form.
The bigger issue is the LS6 isn't offered from some of the cheaper places like "crateenginedepot" anymore. Probably dealer only at this point which is twice the money.

Get the LS2, put a 4" stroke in it which will make it a 402ci and put LS3 heads with a FAST intake on it.....
