What kind of a budget are you talking? If the sky is the limit (i know it isn't you're 19) I can list at least twenty different tuners. Personal opinion: SLP or pretty much any other tuner's 383 or 402 + an STS turbo (http://www.ststurbo.com) with a water-to-air intercooler and methanol injection. Don't forget to update your trans and dif!!!

if it is going to be a street car go air to air, a water to air will create to many problems for ya. Water to air is best for drag cars.
If your filthy rich i would go with Nelson performance.
If not build your own, i would go with aps, if you are set on a single set up OFI.

If you are not looking into spending alot of money then i would just build the engine with a h/c combo and throw a 150 shot on it.

What kind of power do you want and what is your price range????? That would make it easier for people to help you out.

Stick with air to water. I'm switching my twin air to airs to a big ass air to water right now and it's a pain in the ass, but worth it if you race the car alot. Air to waters aren't just for drag cars though, cobras and lightnings come with them.

Water is much more effective at absorbing heat than air is. Definitely the way to go for sure!

i am not saying air to water intercoolers are bad for the street, in the case with ford that is a muti-billion dollar corp, they better build a reliable one.......i personally never knew that they used air to water.

I've seen people with custom setups using air to water and they had problems with the setup. You don't really need one for the street an air to air is more than enough and it is very reliable.
I agree that air to waters are not just for drag cars, but if your car is going to be your daily driver than a big air to air is the way i would go. If not and youplan on flogging your car to hell then go with air to water.

There are other reasons to go with an air-to-water intercooler; for example, space constraints. My car will be getting liquid intercoolers because of the better efficiency but also because a front-mount air-to-air is pretty inefficient as far as engine heat when crammed in front of a radiator, especially in a 1993-97 Camaro where there is no grill for either. I can put the liquid intercooler wherever I want, within reason.

I wouldn't look anywhere else than the APS twin turbo kit for 5500 including shippsing. Check out air power systems.com
