what is needed for the supercharger

Hey guys. Ive been around ta's for a long time but recently got into power adders. I am highly considering a supercharger (would like a turbo, but to much more) long tubes and was wondering what should be changed inside the engine for reliability of higher boost. Forged pistons, rods, fuel injectors, rear end, etc. I dont want to spend millions but would like something that i can run 10 psi or so and not worry about blowing stuff up. Also any recommendations for brands for rods, pistons, etc.. I was wondering how much power the stock block can take. What the crank can handle. Thanks guys. Have a good night buddies.

347, weisco pistons, stock rods, stock polished crank, CamMotion cam, Patriot 6.0L heads, Alky Control Kit, and an ATI P1SC at 10LBS=620rwhp for me. Drives just like a stock car to minus the poor gas mileage and odd noises(s/c, bov, cam). I've got a Moser 12 bolt in the back and for the fuel system I have 2 255 pumps(one inline, one intank) and 42lb injectors(which I need to up to 60 or so). I hope this helps you out a little.

Look above on the Forced Induction page, and read the very first thread. It says "Important". There are alot of helpful hints there.

stock blocks are usually good to 500 horse at the wheels....after that, go for the forged internals.
