I hope your kidding? If not, they are junk. I have heard many horror stories of cheap ebay turbos going out after 3,000 miles or less. Most end up breaking some compressor blades and sucking pieces into the engine.

the turbo looks cheap but the just for the kit it self it looks decent... under $1,000.00 for a turbo seet up... i dunno... i'm tempted... you have to remember that bad word fo mounth travels much faster and broad than good word of mouth... who knows.. maybe for every one that blew up there are 50 otheres that didn't...

Under $6K for a new front mount turbo is bogus.

This was on dsm's also. They might last longer on an lsx car due to running less boost. The dsm's for the most part are daily driven with 20+psi.

Nothing about that set-up would ever find its way onto my car.

That is tempting but I would be worried about putting it on my car without anyone else testing it out. Sarge should buy this and a stock F-body and report the results.

the kit is a cheap knock off of a PTK system. it all looks like a very good deal but the time effort and additional money your gonna spend tryin to fix the issues you encounter, is not gonna be worth it. the turbo is junk...you'll be lucky to get 300 miles out of it. the kit will NOT line up properly and it'll drive you insane makin it all fit. stay away from EBay turbo kits for f-bodies....they are horrid. put that money toward a decent kit and save a little while longer.

Send an email to some buyers of this kit and ask them about it. Look around on other message boards and get some feedback from people who have actually installed / run this kit. I don't like how so many parts are missing from it...

"Our kit does not include intercooler piping, v-band clamps or a wastegate. In order to fully install this kit, you will need to purchase silicone couplers, t-bolt clamps, turbo oil feed and drain lines, and intercooler piping & v-band clamps. Unfortunately we do not sell these items, but you can find them at other retailers."
