    Twin turbo or supercharger???

I was wanting to put either a turbo or supercharger on my automatic 00' SS, but can't decide which is better. How bad do each hurt gas mileage? How much do they improve 1/8 and 1/4 mile times? This is also my daily car. Thanks.

If this is your only car, then I would install the 5psi remoted turbo, less cost, less down time, more reliable.

twin turbo is going to cost a lot of money. If you have the funds, do it. Keep the boost a conservative level, upgrade your fuel system and get a good tune. Just remember, with a lot of power comes a lot of broken drive train parts.

As for your 1/4 times...too many variables to tell.

Single turbo all the way for your daily driver. If you drive it tame it won't hurt mileage at all, yet when you get on it you can deal it to just about anything.

I would go with a Procharger. Its been proven. And with under 8#'s of boost. You should be fine with your DD.

Twin turbos hands down. You can go as fast as your motor / driveline / turbo kit will allow.
