Lightbulb Twin TA-5557(s) VS F1-A Procharger

In Car Craft's newest issue there is a Twin Turbo TA-5557 6.0L LQ9 Malibu running around 11.20's-10.50's.

I hear the Procharger F1-A is a great Centrifugal Supercharger but in a no holds barred cage match would it best this TT setup?

An F1A set-up on a 6.0L will far surpass those twins. You would need to go with a bigger set of turbo's to keep up with an F1A.

Would depend on how much boost those turbos are capable of running. It's a never ending cycle with both setups more than capable of one upping each other.

I am seeing more and more the 370-396 LS engines are starting to catch up with the 400+ CID strokers.

    Callies makes a 3.8 inch stroker crank(as well as a 3.825,and a 3.9 inch crank), with this crank and a +.003 overbore(4.005) this would yield a 383 cid stroker from a LQ4/9 (or LS2).

I would like to use a large pulley to limit boost on a F1-A Procharger to 8-12 psi in order to build a 750-770 FWHP 383 CID stroker.

Don't know why I am attracted to heavy cars like the '80's Monte Carlo,'04-'06 GTO, 1970's-'90's Camaros, 1983-1987 Ford Thunderbirds.

    I am thinking low 10's-Mid 9's.
I have made up my mind and am Saving/Planning to swap an 416 LS3 Stroker into a '83-'88 Monte Carlo SS.
