supercharger is probably going to cost you less initially. But a well done turbo nowadays, is IMO the way to go. But, with the cost of fabbing up piping for an IC and all other costs for going TC... its up to you. If I had money to blow, TC>SC.

Turbo would be my pick.
Pro-charger would be a good option if your not into fabbing or don't have much help.

both superchargers and turbos have their ups and their downs. do some research and see basically what your willing to deal with. either way, its not gonna be cheap regardless of how "cheap" you can get something. they will both do the job and make you as much horsepower as your engine can withstand.
i personally like turbos cause they are much more streetable than a huge supercharger and the power will still be there. my twin turbo 402 sounds like a stock ls1 with headers and exhaust...its a beautifull thing.2000 WS.6 Trans am M6

how much of a power increase on average would you see with an aps twin turbo kit?
-
07-09-2008, 05:19 AM #16
a standard APS kit on a stock motor will get you to about 500rwhp at 7.5psi. which is about a 200+/-rwhp increase over stock...not too shabby on a stock motor with upgraded injectors and fuel pump.

so if you already have a cam and supporting mods, along with some bolt ons, possibly around 550-560? running 7 psi still
Thats a nice jump up in power, I may have to start saving some money up

if you have a cam allready you might want to look into changing it out for a more turbo friendly cam. and yes...no reason why you wouldnt see 550rwhp or so.

You need to get $$$ first you broke ass Good to see you finally getting on here and posting! You could always come to the EPFBA meet and check out TNT's car to see if you want the APS TT setup....
