ive heard of this idea, but with one turbo forcefeeding another to reduce lag.

but yeah, just have a roots mount, and maybe remote turbos and it should fit just fine

have the hot side run out back, hi the turbo, then have your piping run back up, intercooled, then the cold air fed into your roots mount.....the only thing is that you can only run so many pounds....youd need some insanely high flowing heads to make it worth it

It has been done many times.

It doesn't quadruple power or nothing either. Don't be silly...

Its advantage is mostly get the area under the curve at all times. Constant power through the rpm range.

The supercharger is used up front since no lag exists. We all know the downfall of a supercharger is it robs power from the engine just to work. Thats where the turbos come in. Once they spool and reach desired psi the supercharger is cut from the equation. The turbos take it the rest of the way........or atleast til you shift and the whole process starts again.

The disadvantage is the extra weight and cost. Thats why you don't see it at the strip everywhere. If you set-up either a supercharger or turbocharger system properly it will be just as effective.

Since this was a ridiculous question can this thread be locked?

its called compound boost, and the most efficiant way to do it is get a twin screw supercharger that is sized slightly smaller than you would buy normally, then get a large turbo or two large turbos that are sized slightly larger than you would normally have and once the twin screws efficiancy is on the decline then you have the turbos spooled up and they kindof take over, but still blow through the supercharger... get it? its all about the efficiancy of one and once that runs out the other takes over.
