    Supercharger Pics

I am looking into supercharging my Trans Am and would like to get an idea of what some various models look like under the hood along with specs such as psi = rwhp. So if you have it post a pic.

Also how much boost would be safe on an LS1 engine stock internal!

You might have better luck with this thread in the forced induction section. I think like 5 or 6 psi is safe.

8 psi is the max usually with a stock bottom end. Some have went higher with some very good tuning and maybe a meth kit.

Up to 8# is good. Make sure you have enough fuel and a good tune.

So I bought a Vortech Supercharger off of a 2000 Camaro ss and plan on puting it on my T/A and just wanted to see what range boost is safe. I think that I am going to go with 6lbs. I also have an Fast 92mm with a 90mm throttle body in all I picked it up for $2580.

I know getting the fast 92mm, 90mm throttle body, Vorteh supercharger, and he says he will throw in 6 of the 8 42lb injectors all for only $2600. I had to jump on that really quick even though I can't afford it money is going to be tight! He claims that the supercharger has less than 5k.

Says he can't seem to find the other two. However the intake is not a 92mm but a 78mm instead.

I have talked to Fast and the Intake is a 90mm sorry for the ignorance on my part!!!

I am also still looking for a few more parts for the Vortech Supercharger Kit if anyone knows where I could inquire about these other than Vortech since they are over priced!

Once you have a sniff of power, it doesn't take long to want more!

    3.3ltr Whipple - 6.7ltr - 12lb - 503rwkw

I was running the first set up on all stock internals apart from a double row timing chain and heavy duty valve springs! It did 50000kms including travelling all around Australia and never skipped a beat!

    Whipples - FTW!
