people keep telling me to get a supercharger for my ws6. would it be really worth it and would it break my motor if i just bolt on the supercharger without getting a kit for it. i would get an intake new fuel injectors. would my engine blow up?

i would assume it would all depend on how much boost you plan on running and your goals for the car. so lay out your goals and you would be able to get some really good advice from more knowledgable members on the fi route. personally i would say spend the money on simple bolt ons and maybe a cam if you wanna go that far. simpler and straight forward to me. i dont know what you would need other than fuel injectors because i havent researched fi at all for these cars.

I'm using an ati procharger on my stock LS1 2002 ss 35th camaro. It's been on there now for about 20,000 mile with out any motor issues. The only thing I just found out. That after I added long tube headers and removed both cat's I lost about 3 psi of boost.(still making 440 horse power @ the wheels) So, now I'm ordering from Prcharger, there 9 psi pulley to get me back to my 7 psi. I may even convert all my rubber hoses to stainless pipe kit my buddy isn't using anymore.
