I like mine! With just the kit and some of the extras with it, it produced mega horsepower and high 11's in the quarter. Not to mention the enjoyment of whippin the socks of some unexpecting racer. Now I've got a 12 bolt rearend and am in the process of throwing a 383 stroker 8.5:1 compression, an intercooler, and methenol injection on it. l can't wait to see what she'll do.

I like mine but you only want to buy the base model and get your intercooler some where eles sts is high on there prices. they want 995.00 for intercooler setup up. you can order your own intercooler with piping for like 150 on ebay. and just have to fab your own install. and your going to want the intercooler I still have to wait on mine i am broke . Need tires to.

Can save you the time and money.....dont buy the STS kit!! I had one and you can fab one up for a lot less and get better performance! Just wasn't impressed with the performance it gave. We fabbed up a 76mm and it is way more impressive...and it costs a lot less! So, basically I wasted the money on the STS kit

Where in Fla. are you? I wouldn't mind seeing your kit if it "homemade". I agree that it can be done, BUT I can tell you I wouldn't want to try. Some people have plenty enough knowledge to do it, but not most of us. I love my kit, I'm just getting through this tuning stuff, and I'm hoping to hit the track for the first time next Friday.

Panama City......and while it might be "homemade" as you put it there has been a lot of consulting on this project from various companies to make sure we build what we were after...it will be GM High performance just not sure when.........

That's cool. I wasn't trying to insult your efforts, I think it's awesome that you were able to put together a turbo kit. My only point is, there is no way I would even try it. I have a feeling that I would do things over and over, and end up spending more correcting things.

    Good luck with GMHTP.

oh no...didn't take it as an insult what so ever......

I know the feeling about having to do something over and over....I've learned my lessons thru the years.....lol....I started this project about 4 months ago and it's been worth every penny....well the wife doesn't think so......if you're ever in Florida let me know and I'll be glad to show you or I'll be glad to send you some pics........
