STS spark plug choice
What is the group’s consensus on running a colder plug in turbo charged applications? I have a 2005 GMC 2500 HD with a STS turbo kit on it and am debating whether to change plugs to a 1 step colder heat range.
While I have the group’s attention are platinum and iridium plugs better that conventional plugs or do they just last longer?
Thanks
Mark Rutherford

NGK TR-55's should be good....if you dont mind changing your plugs then I wouldn't so with a platinum or iridium plug....NGK's seem to give good throttle responce and I change mine about every 8K.......just me.....

I run NGK TR6 plugs on most of the turbo cars we do , higher boost cars I will gap them a little bit tighter .

Hey New Era,
What do you think of the STS kits? I know they run TR6's that are gapped at .60.
