    Does getting a perfect seal to the hood make much of a difference? Does it matter where you port your throttle body and how big of a hole?

    I wouldn't expect much of a difference on the seal. As for the throttle body, the opening can only get as big as the blade, if you take a look at it you'll see what i mean

    Made that because a lot of people don't understand what porting a TB consists of, and i think that drawing lays it out pretty clearly. Figured i might as well sign it

    Just making the opening larger to match the blade size
    careful not to take any metal from around the blade otherwise you'll have idle issues

    My poor Alternator

    I was wondering if you had an idea what might be wrong with my car. WhenI step on the accelerator the RPM's go up but the car doesn't accelerate. It is like I am stepping down when I am in Idle. Sucks, almost didn't make it home.

    FTP

    The FTP lid for our car look like it may be a thciker huosing then the SLP. It look like more volume with the bump on the top. Any body know which is better?
