Radiators
What are the differences between an intercooler radiator and a stock one? I have an intercooler radiator I'm trying to get rid of, but I don't quite know what the difference is. Normally, I wouldn't ask...but I've got no interest in turbo stuff so it's not something I've studied up on...
Thanks in advance!!

I'm not sure what you mean by "intercooler" radiator. Are you referring to the transmission cooler for automatics. Or are you talking about a FMIC (Front Mount InterCooler) for turbochargers and superchargers?
They're 2 different things...for different purposes. Post a pic of what you have so we can shed more light on the subject.

This is what she had in her that I'm trying to get gone... All I know is that she had an intercooled turbo and this is what's left. I'm trying to figure out how (if at all) this is any different from a regular radiator.

The only difference is it was modified to stand straight up. It looks to be a Griffin Radiator that has a higher cooling capacity than the stock radiator does in order to support a turbocharged or supercharged application. It needs another mounting source other than the 3 zip ties at the top of it. You need to fab or make up a bracket to mount the top in order for it to not move around.

That was just there as a temporary thing. I've since taken it out and gone back to a stock radiator since I will NOT be running a supercharger or turbo. Thanks for the help!

The way he rigged up the nose, it's not safe to drive on the highway like that. No front bracing at all if something happens. He basically hacked out the whole radiator support assembly and replaced it with rusty 1/4 inch-square tubing.
