Hey guys, looking to get some feedback on the 1PSC 7psi blower. Thinking about putting it on my 00WS6. I have very little mods done to date. Minor intake and exhaust. What kind of HP am I going to be looking at adding without doing an changing the intake manifold and adding headers? I know that I have to upgrade the injectors and upgrade fuel pump, which comes in the kit from ATI if I am not mistaken. Any information would be appreciated.

You can look to gain about 100 to 125 rwhp.

your going forced induction.. which means intake and headers wont be AS important.. it is being FORCED into it.. it has no choice.. kinda like making air your bitch.. you should be putting down about 450 or 500..

Intake may not be, but exhaust is. What goes in, needs to get out.

    exactly

and engine is a giant combusting vacuum, nothing more...

the more that goes in the more that needs to come out.

as ED said, with bolt-ons you can expect around 100+ hp

definitely check out getting a set of heads (pending your budget)

cheaper than heads is 2 more psi... a pulley away. I wouldn't go [much] higher without an 8-rib setup.

Frost are you saying 7psi plus 2 - I am running 12 on a 8 ribbed system - just wondering if that is o.k. - Thanks

I was pointing out that somewhere around 10-12psi that belt slip cannot be remedied in most cases without an 8rib setup

I had the P1SC on my stock motor with the SDCE 8-rib set up making 9lbs boost. Made ~457 rwhp.

I ran it conservative so I wouldn't have to get a new motor. I'm not into running a motor on the ragged edge seeking hp. I like to have dependability factored in it. That's just my approach.

My thinking was there was no room for a bigger pulley and only running on the street I might get by - Ohhhhh dopy me
