PCV on ls4 front drive (boosted)

any ideas here guys. i know i drive a good old ls1, just trying to help a friend out, seems like we just cant get it vented.

we have tried some different things, right now he i just open with a breather on top of a catch can from both valve covers.

i dont really know, i been trying to convince him he needs to refrence a vacum source. any good ideas here.

Have you considered the LS6 style valley cover PCV system?? It pulls from the valley instead of the valve covers, so there is much less oil consumption and much better crankcase ventilation. You just need the cover for about $55 from GM Parts Direct and a piece of 3/8" hose from the nipple to your intake manifold vacuum port.

If the PCV hoses are attached to each valve cover, then its not the LS6 style. The LS6 style attaches to the valley cover, on the front of the engine directly below the intake manifold.

Have you tried hooking up the catch can to a vacuum source such as infront of the impeller?
