Need ideas for Cam on my set-up
Ok guys heres the situation...I'm in need of some specs on a good cam for my setup. I want a cam that has good low-mid range power b/c the cam I have in it right now(C1 hammerCam) has no low end power. Some people have mentioned the LPE GT2-3 cam but I'm wandering if a custom grind cam would be the better way to go. I would like a cam that isnt very loud but loud enough to know its there. I'm planning on running around 10 lbs of boost after the heads/cam are installed. Any advice is greatly appreciated.
I'm planning on running the Patriot Stage 2 LQ9 heads with the cam. These heads and cam will be run on a forged 347 if that helps any.
thanks for the help guys,
chris

If you want something that lopes, take the GT2-3 out of the hunt. Its as stock as stock can be at idle. But it is a good cam if you're running boost.
I'd go custom as that will tailor exactly with the mods you plan on running.Rob

I have always loved a 224/230 on a 114LSA .570/.580 lift.
now i ran a 230/236 on a 114+4 .592/.602 with no problem with an A4.
You can hear the lope better with my cam then the one i said.... but the 224/230 will still sound about like you want.
I know Futral Makes one... the F7 if i rememebr correctly.
