The weight of just the intercooler was 26 lbs.

I am going to guess the added weight from everything being installed (from me lifting it) is around 100-110lbs. The mild steel piping was pretty heavy also.

Coming down to the wire now. June 15th-21st are the DYNO and tune dates.

    I still need:
    - Aster tensioner
    - LS2 water pump
    - An elbow that was missing
    - ATI crank pinning kit
    - Correct belt for the Aster tensioner

I spoke with Mark and it looks like the elbow and pinning kit he is taking care of. I called Bob again this morning. Aster brackets are shipping out again now. I am getting a UPS tracking number for mine so I can track it.

A big thanks again to Mark and others who have helped me out with this.

    Mark,

Two more weeks only before Steve is coming to tune the car. Can you give me an update on:

    - ATR48I-091 3" elbow, extended leg that was missing from the kit
    - ATI crank pinning kit from ATI
    - Correct belt for the Aster tensioner

Bob said the Aster and LS2 water pump are being shipped today from Chris.

There was no mention about the correct length belt being shipped.

I really need these parts to be shipped to Nate ASAP.

Bob still had my shipping address in his system for the Aster/LS2 water pump. I had him change it to Nate's address.

All of this stuff needs to be shipped directly to Nate at this point.

Sorry to be a PITA on this and keep asking, but it's coming down to the wire now. I just want to keep on top of this as I know everyone is busy with things.

    I appreciate it.

    Jon

Piping coming out of the intercooler. No cutting required.

A look through the grill at the intercooler. Not much air flow coming in it looks like!!

Grille put back on after intercooler install is complete.

Feel free Jeff. You're always welcome!

There's currently some discussion on the air flow to the intercooler. The installer doesn't think there is enough.

I asked this question in my other thread prior to going with the FMIC and was informed I'd be OK.

Now I am having second thoughts.

    Any thoughts on this anyone?

I would just leave It with an open Grill cause who wants to hide such a monster anyway

Not sure on the clearances, but is there any way to maybe build an air dam underneath to scavenge air through that way?

That was my thoughts after talking with a friend about it. Perhaps. I am not hacking up my grille though. I think the grille makes the car's overall appearance look that much better. Plus, they don't offer the LE grille anymore.

    I agree, I wouldn't touch the grille.

Just remove the plastic grille for competition and put it on for show

    Wait...does it even come off?

Yes, but you have to remove the entire front fascia to remove it. It doesn't come out the front, you have to remove it by pulling it out towards the engine. It's held in with plastic rivets.

It's not the grille that came on the car.

SLP made a limited production of grilles specifically for the LE cars. They sold them for a few years and then discontinued them. The stock grille is all black with the word "Camaro" in grey on it. This was the grille all 35th cars came with.
