Congrats and that is great news on the numbers! NGK's are the shit when it comes to spark plugs and they will last you a good 10,000 miles on a FI car. Glad to hear you are up and running though! Have fun with it and get some track times with it soon.

I will probably go get the car next weekend so after I get it cleaned up, I'll definitely be posting some more pictures...of the car

Thanks Packy and thanks for the e-mails back and forth early when I was first considering doing this! Will do on the track numbers. I don't know how well my 60' times will be, but I do plan on running her as-is this summer sometime

No worries! I think you will be happy once you get to drive it. You will also have to change your drawers out a few more times so have some spares on standby! LOL!

Some more info on the car...

I got some of my information mixed up above. The first pull it actually only DYNO'd 437 to the wheels. After tuning it, it pulled up to 540rwhp and that is when it was making 11lbs of boost. That is when they decided to de-tune it some and back-off the rev limiter so it would cut off at 6400RPM to be safe on the tune. As the car stands now, she put down right around 500rwhp at 8psi.

The car is going to the custom fabricator tomorrow night to get the driveshaft safety loop fabricated from scratch (couldn't find one that worked without fabrication anyway with my set-up) and also to get the cross-member clearance issue fixed.

After those two items are complete, the car will be washed and cleaned up and ready for pick-up.

As of right now, it looks like I'll be heading out there this upcoming Sunday to get it.

Nate called me today and gave me the final updates on everything. Again, I am highly impressed with this guy and the workmanship he does.

He said he brought his good video camera with him on the DYNO day and got a video of the car on the DYNO, but ran out of memory for all the DYNO pulls so I have one video from the video camera and one other video from his phone.

I should have those videos in the next few days.

Thanks again everyone for coming along for the ride

Hey guys. Got a few more pics today. Drive shaft safety loop fabrication is finished and installed.

Here is a picture of the corrected cross-member that some of you remembered me having ground clearance issues with once I was lowered on Strano's. The original cross-member had a large "dip" in it for exhaust clearance that scraped on the ground hard every time I went up or down a large incline and also when going over speed bumps. The fabricator heated up the cross-member and bent it up and out of the way with still plenty of clearance for the exhaust. No more scrapping!!! This is the cross-member that came with my BMR Trak Pak torque arm.

Looks like they did a real nice job. Good fix for the x-member -- I remember you posting about it a couple of times.

We figured out a way to make custom AL piping to the intake to get the air filter up into the fender area without modifying the charge pipes on the intercooler.

The added cost is going to be about $160-$200 to me.

I am having them do it. It won't be ready for pick-up now on Sunday but it will save me an extra trip out there.

After 4-5 DYNO pulls she made 540rwhp. Both Nate and Steve said with a stock cam and bottom end, they were both highly impressed that it made so much power.

Nate took the car out for a few 1st thru 3rd pulls on the street. His response to me was "this car is a beast". He said he was very surprised on how hard it hooked. He said it was hooking hard even in 1st gear. He also said that I wouldn't be able to have time to be watching any of my gauges

Despite the few hiccups here and there, I feel extremely satisfied right now with the overall experience and will be even more pumped when I can take it out for a test spin!
NICE! Great numbers, especially through the 12 bolt. Nothing beats that first drive. With all your research and preparation, I'm glad everything came together in the end and the car is setup well. Enjoy the new setup and be safe!

Almost look as clean as the underside of your car

Leaving at 630AM to go get the car. The fabricator ended up finishing up the custom intake early
