Thought about that also. I wouldn't have the correct spacing and by doing that I would then need lengthened studs.

I don't think that is an option either, especially with the power I will be running.

So you are running the stock cam with this install right? Is that to keep some street manners? I thought I read somewhere that the ls6 cam was a perfect boost cam also.

There are more friendly camshafts for turbochargers and superchargers. The one that I know of that has been proven over and over again has a cam spec of:

    Duration @ .050 232 int 240 exh

    Lift .595 int .608 exh

    Lobe Separation of 115.0

Yes, I will be running the stock cam for the time being until I tear into the motor later down the road with forged parts.

Mickey Thompson makes a 295/45/17 drag radial, but it is taller so it screws with the ABS if you still have it. It's what I'm running on my bird, only way I could get it to hook up on the stock WS6 rims.

I thought when I searched before they didn't so this is definitely good information to know. I did maintain the ABS function on the 9". I really think that the Nitto DR's will be useless, but I'm keeping my fingers crossed that they will hold up for me on the street at least.

I'd like to get a separate set of wheels for the rears as dedicated track wheels with slicks, but that probably won't happen until this build is paid for.

I'll be sure to check into the MT's.

Just curious, what power are you running and still being able to hook well with the MT's?

I'm still a bit mild, using a 3.85" pulley making 715/650. I need a returne, but have been waiting to get a few odds and ends finished first and then may put the 3.4" pulley on it.

Mark - according to the matrix for the Aster bracket and pulley size, the correct belt length should be a 53.5" belt.

If the head unit pulley is between 4.25" and 4.5"

    Further update:

No belt was shipped. Nate is going to just source one locally now.

The truck intake and filter don't work. Plastic outlet is 4" and filter has a 3.25" inlet. We are going to look for a new filter to work. Hopefully we find one...

I don't normally ship belts and I hadn't been told you were wanting one supplied. Sounds like a miscommunication.

The top quote was from almost a month ago. I've inquired about the belt to Mark several times now. I have to assume Mark didn't inform you to ship it or he didn't ship it himself. I talked to Bob and nothing was mentioned to him about a belt either.

Either way, there is no belt...

Yeah, like I said, it sounds like somewhere in the chain that was missed.

I am glad to hear it up and running though, it sounds great!
