More Power Turbo, Sc, Bolt-ons?
Well I think that this will be the place to ask...... what in the end will be faster? Turbo/Supercharger rated at 450 horsepower or Head/Cam/intake also rated at 450? I am just debating what to go with. Will the bolt ons be more consistant through the power band and there by be faster than the Turbo/Supercharger that needs to get boost (I know that a turbo is not that way) but for the 5 to 6 grand what would be better? I just dont want to waiste money

Not being sarcastic but 450 horsepower is 450 horsepower.......I'm partial to turbos but if you're just wanting 450 horsepower then I'd go with bolt on's.........you'll get a pretty consistent powerband with each of them........a supercharger will eventually lose it's breath, a turbo just keeps on breathing, and bolt on's.....well they will always be there.......what do you want to do with the car???? Daily driver, track, a little of both??????

to be honest, I like the track and would love the low numbers for braging rights. but this is more of a street car.

key questions you need to answer...
-what is your budget?
-is this a DD?
-how many miles per year do you drive?
-what are the goals for the car?
-how long do you plan on owning the car?

More useable power with a turbocharger. If sized correctly, you will have more low-end grunt and fantastic top-end power. Compare dyno graphs of both S/C and turbo cars and you will see that turbo is the way to go.

Just remember, with turbos, bigger isn't always better.
Big=Turbo lag
Small=Quick spool up
Its all in the setup

If you want to maintain stock driveability, FI is the way to go. I chose a turbo because I can hear all superchargers whine, which I did not want. My goal was to build a sleeper, and it looks and sounds completely stock until I get on it.
It will cost you about 6k for FI, because you will also need a fuel pump, injectors, gauge(s) and a tune. I also did wires and plugs while I was at it.
Texas Rear Turbo's stage 1 kit is pretty good, although I suggest getting the GT-67 upgrade and the electronic boost switch.

honestly, like said above, if your just looking for 450 hp do the bolt ons. If you want more, go with a small nitrous shot.

450 with bolt-on won't be too street friendly. A SC will drive just like stock.

As said above 450 is 450 but the difference will be how quick it makes 450, a PD blower will make 450 quicker than bolt ons from down low and make a mountain of torque (torque = fast) but will run out of puff nearing the 5500 rpm mark, a turbo will make 450 quicker than bolt ons but will come on a little later than the PD blower but it will also outrun the PD in the long run, bolt on 450, well it will make 450 at almost peak rpm

Put a superccharger on it and a good blower cam and you'll be satisfied. And for the person that posted that superchargers lose steem up top and turbos keep goin, its the other way around.

A procharger p1 with a 3200 stall would be your best bet if you want good power and streetability. You wont even make boost just cruisin around, and with a good tune you'll get pretty decent gas mileage. if you go heads and cam, and want to perform anywhere near what you would with the blower, you would have to sacrafice alot of driveability.
