You know I never have been a real big fan of "top" speed runs.

I just thought.......do it now while you have the time. Just a little low end grunt to help the spool time along!

For the track or serious street bidness we will run it up to 25 pounds. There is at least another two to three hundred horse power to squeeze out with out any problem. I expect a conservative tune at 22 to 25 pounds on 101 gas will put 1150 to 1190 to the wheels.
Be sure to put an update on dragtimes.com. Near the top of the dyno page is another 434 LSX, but in a C6. He has GT35R which is a 61mm, so you should pass him if you increase to 25 psi.

Keep in mind this car is built as a STREET CAR and not a drag car. There will be no cage so my opportunity to make many 1/4 mile runs will be very limited. There is an 1/8 mile track in the area that never does tech so I will practice there but all the 1/4 mile tracks are a bit more strict. My goal is to run in the 9 second range to have a nine second street car. I ran a 10.39 when it just had a 427 so I expect it will be pretty simple to hit the nines quickly.

could probably scare 8's if they'd give you a few runs to get it down. not likely to happen though.

It's not set up to run 8's. Only has a 3:15 rear to help traction. I expect I will still be in third or just shifted into 4th in a quarter.

Just go back a few pages and there are tons of pics of the turbos. Just so ya know this is not a kit, this system was completely fabricated to fit my set up.

There's quite a few guys in the 8's with 3.00's in the rear, so don't put the 8's out of the picture just yet

    That guy is me...

I just upgraded from the 61's, to a pair of billit 67's. We strap it down tomorrow.

It will be out at the NMCA vs NMRA event this coming weekend in Charlotte.

Oh, it's a street car too. Just ask my kids when I take them to school in it.

Gorilla, getting close! Setup looks awesome. Can't wait to see the final numbers.

I have been through many of the growing pains you are either going through now or will be durring the shake down period. Good luck through all of that and drop me a line if you have any questions I may be able to help with.

Gratz! Nothing is better than media coverage... Kinda makes it all worth it.

I have some coming out soon as well. When yours is done I can probably give you some contacts if you want.

Got to drive it for the first time Saturday. WOW.........just running off the waste gates, about nine pounds of boost at about 800 horse this thing really gets your attention at about 3700 RPM. I got some serious driving to learn. Still got some small issues but I hope to have it in my hands in a couple three weeks!
