The builder decided. He has some kind of formula he plugs into with the turbo data and then he has his calculations.

Well they make intakes for all sorts of different applications. Just like Hogan sheet metal intakes.

that stuff is all nice but why the overkill just for the street?lots of $ invested just to drive it...not knocking it thats all badazz but come on,that power can be made cheaper and without all the custom fabbed parts..

I did this as part of a planned bullet proof project. I suggest you try this project with all your "corner cutting" ideas and we will see who generates the most power and who breaks first!

and i love it, it reminds me of some yellow skyline i saw with 1000hp to the wheels and the builder could run it full throttle all over the place for like an hour and it was just as reliable as factory. It was tame easy to drive and had enough power to make you second guess flooring it. I love builds like that and anyone who doesnt is just jealous that they cant have it

Thanks Buddy! I have been to the fair several times now and I have found if you cut corners you end up paying for it in the end. Nothing is foolproof and things always break but building to stay together is just additional insurance. Cutting corners is one way to go and anyone who decides to go that way....well more power to em!

Amen, I personally will admit to cutting corners from time to time, due to money. No excuse, but sometime when you want a choppy cam, you just want that sound. If I had the money, I promise, my builds would be EXACTLY like yours. Glad to see someone is playing with all the right tools on here.
