    How about the rail extentions, the ones they make to fit under the valve covers,those might do the trick.
    mods: custom built twins, built 408 w/l92 stock GM heads,GM matching intake,drag bags,frame ties,aluminum drive shaft, performabuilt 4l80e,Yank converter,ohios fastest and quickest 04-06 GTO 9.52 at 144mph. 1.50 60ft on stock rear end and shafts/suspension,on drag radials.

    It is the angle of the Jesel rail system that "rubs" on the covers. Going with a different angle system should do the trick!

    Is it part of the rocker you can grind the spot where they hit,maybe that could solve the problem,done this on my jesels on my 540 BBC merlin motor

    No grinding............just got a different angle system. Should work fine.

    I can only imagine. Got a buddy who is feeling a little bit of your pain. He just installed a rebuilt TH350 onto his L98 powered 85 El Camino...only to find out the tranny doesn't work....he's pretty heated right now. Of course, your situation is about 600 or so horsepower different on a beautiful Vette.... so x999999999999 infinity squared

    Thanks...here is the latest. Motor goes on the engine dyno Monday and is broken in for two days. Then gets stressed a bit. Then dynoed as N/A. Then the turbos are hooked up and dynoed with that set up. Once finished with all dyno and all the tweaking, which will take about a week. Motor is sent back to installer. Finished install with take another two weeks or so. I expect it gets into my hands by the end of April or early May after car is dyno tuned and driven about three hundred miles to make sure everything is working and tight. Anticipation is really building!

    matt I know I give ya hell bud but I'm anxious as hell to see that thing finished

    edit: if you don't call out oldschool I'm going to revoke your man card and tell your wife that those are NOT new alternators

    Got it on the dyno yesterday.....had some ignition issues and she only ran on seven cylinders. Still put out almost 550 HP. Here is video and a few pics. Mo0re dyno work today!
