    injector??

hey everybody....just went to get dyno tuned with my procharged trans am...i found out my injectors are not big enough to support my setup...so now i have to upgrade my fuel system....my question is will 48# injectors be enough??? do they have to be low impeadence or high impeadence...also will a 225gphr walbro fuel pump be sufficient to support my set up??? Im lookin at about 500 to 575 crank hp...thanks for the help

What does your current fuel system consist of?

48lb inj will be enough for 575 crank hp.
The 255 Walbro will be enough for 575 crank hp.

Be sure to check fuel pressure after the installation.
    WOT should be around 50-60psi.

    good luck,
    allen

I've been running the procharger system for almost 2 years. I dyno'd at 446hp at the rear wheels on a mustang dyno. That equates to approx. 525hp at the crank since I have a M6 car. I'm running the green top bosch 42lb. injectors and the walbro internal pump. I didn't like the external pump set up from procharger so I sold it. The injectors are more than enough for the hp that I have. The GM tuner actually told me the GM supercharged 3800 V6 injectors would of been a better choice since they are much more tunable especially below 2500 rpms. Hopefully any of this info helps.
