headers for turbo?
im planning out my turbo for my 6 and i was wondierng whats better shorty headers(would be great due to space constraints) or long tubes. iether way theyll be pacesetter coated. so what you think\

Shorty headers will be good and give you more space. A tubular header design for a turbo kit will be good...regardless of length. Remember to support the turbo though. It gets heavy and the strength of headers+lots of heat=cracks.

short headers would be best, also i agree if you don't support the turbo i've seen the exhaust get so hot the turbo just broke off from the header.
how do you plan on making these? flippin a set of normal ones upside down?

well i was just goin to get some pacesstter shorties and build it from there. but now im just goin to make my own out of high temp stainless and point em out the front. i figure that i can take off my old headers and use the flange as a template and get some laser cut out of 1/4" stainless and then i can bend all the pipes and get it all to flow right.

Either wrap them in header wrap or have them ceramic coated man...for sure...I wrap my headers....1/4 overlay and your good....

from 500 to 1500 depending on bearings, shafts and all taht other crap i dont know about yet
