Can i run this setup?

I have a 6 Speed 99Z28 and I have a chance to pick up a V9 Vortech Supercharger system. I was only going to run 6lbs of boost aftercooled and I have the below setup.

Ported 6.0L 243 Castings
MMM 233/233-578/113lsa

Will I have to change the cam for this to work correctly?

short answer......do you have to? No But it would work better and more efficiently if you did.

Everything is FREE for me besides changing the cam so I just wanted to know if it would be safe and half way efficient.

I should hit 500+rwhp with 6lbs so I think I will tell my contact to send the blower.

Why not 8lbs of boost?
